The Forest Declaration Assessment is a civil society-led effort to assess collective progress toward 2030 forest goals, including the Glasgow Leader’s Declaration. Previously the NYDF Progress Assessment, the Forest Declaration Assessment has since 2015 published annual updates to enable accountability to meet global forest goals. The effort, coordinated by Climate Focus, engages a strong and diverse group of over two dozen research organizations, think tanks, NGOs, and advocacy groups from around the world.
